"T" day April 16 ie EUMA Training Day

"Self Development: The Wheel of Personal Success". A tempting headline, isn't it? At least my curiousity was awokened and also 197 persons could not resist it. Only 3 seats out of the 200 available were not filled. A "world record" for EUMA training days and for the very first time two trainers were engaged! Laura Belgrado and Peter Andreou from PeopleAchieve, two very energetic and carismatic persons with long experience.

I quote the seven areas that were focused: Attitude, Competencies, Halo(Your brand), Innovation, empathy, vision, enablers (Achieve). The role of the assistant was boosted in many ways during the day. How about this definition of the assistant today:

Ambassadors of our Executives, Smart, Sense, IQ &EQ, Successful, Talented, Always continue to learn, No is the new "yes", Time to rethink your WOW (ways of working). In a workshop in groups of 3 persons we discussed What is working, what is not working, what is missing and what is needed. The findings were posted on the walls on flip chart papers. Interesting to see the similiarities in our roles between the different countries.

I think we all took some new learnings and "aha's" with us when we left at the end of the day. Not to forget the great networking that we had enjoyed during the last days. I end with some more quotes from our trainers.

Eventhough we had been working very hard with the preparations, I felt boosted and filled with new energy when I came back to work this Monday.
